最初是由美國杜邦公司於1929年開發
並迅速以高耐用抗撕裂和耐磨性而聞名
在二戰隊期間.開始被軍方拿來在輪胎

1966年美國杜邦公司開發出尼龍的新配方
CORDURA ®品牌便逐漸被轉移到這種尼龍產品上
隨後研發人員開發了CORDURA ®面料的染色方式
進而開闢了更多的商業應用
